Lafayette Get Your Rear in Gear 5k

Thank you for attending the inaugural Lafayette Get Your Rear in Gear event on February 23, 2008. Over 150 people of all ages took place in the 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K Run, then enjoyed some great music and jambalaya.

We had a perfect day and we thank everyone who came out to help raise awareness – and funds – for colon cancer. A special thanks to our host site, the University of Louisiana Lafayette Alumni Center.
