Dear Race Participant, Thank you for participating in the first annual Get Your Rear in Gear Run and Walk in Philadelphia! Below you will find important information and instructions for picking up your race packet, event parking, and other important event details. We look forward to seeing you on March 22!
Optional Pre-Race Packet Pick Up:
Race packets (t-shirt, goodie bag, race number) will be available for optional early pick up on Saturday 3/21 at the address below.
We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to pick up your packet on Saturday if possible. We anticipate 1,000 participants by the time on-line registration closes on Wednesday 3/18. T-shirts and goodie bags are guaranteed to the first 1,000 pre-registered who pick up their packets. Picking up your race packet on Saturday will assure you receive your t-shirt & goodie bag and will allow you to avoid waiting in line on race day.

Registration opens on Sunday, March 22 at 7:30am and closes at 8:45am. Visit our registration tent to pick up your t-shirt, goodie bag and race number. If you are picking up your race packet on race day, we encourage you to come early to avoid waiting in line.
For 5K Runners!
If you have signed up to run the 5K run portion of the event, you will receive a DAG Chip race timing bib. These bibs contain an electronic timing chip, allowing us to quickly and accurately determine winners on site and post results on-line after the event. It is important that you avoid folding or crumpling your bib, as this could affect its ability to transmit your time. These bibs must be returned immediately following the 5k run. If you forget to return the bib, your credit card will be billed $10.00 for the replacement cost. After you cross the finish line, there will be a number of volunteers present to assist with the collection of runners’ bibs.
Lots to See!Come early, stay late and visit with our vendors and sponsors. Starbucks will be on site providing complimentary coffee & Vitamin Water will be offering complimentary bottles of their products. Olympus will be offering tours of their mobile showroom, where you can see the latest innovations in colonoscopy scopes and medical equipment. Jefferson Hospital, American Association of Cancer Research, Colon Health Centers of America and Physicians Endoscopy will also be on site in the vendor area.
Photo OpportunitiesWe will have a photographer on site in the team meeting area across from the registration tents. Look for the large Get Your Rear In Gear photography backdrop. Team photos will be taken starting at 7:30am -8:45am and from 10:15-11:15Aam. All participants, walkers and runners, should make sure their bib number can be seen at ALL times.
