New York Get Your Rear in Gear 4 Mile Run/Walk

Post Race Wrap-Up

Nearly 400 people came out to Prospect Park in Brooklyn for the first annual New York Get Your Rear in Gear 4 Mile Run/Walk.  Participants enjoyed perfect weather and and a scenic course while honoring loved ones affected by colon cancer.  Team Covey Love came decked out in pink glasses, tutus and t-shirts to honor their friend Amy Covey who passed away last year from the disease.  It was Amy's friends and family who were inspired to bring the event to the New York area. 

Runners and walkers, we still need your help! 

We have over 33 chips missing.  Please follow these instructions for returning your Championchip timing device:

1. Put the chip in a padded envelope or wrap the chip in bubble wrap. (An unwrapped chip will be lost in post office machinery)

2. Enclose a note telling us your name, bib number, and from which event your chip came.

3. Address to:  Super Race Systems, 34 Chapman Road,Garrison, NY 10524

4. Bring to post office window so they can Hand Cancel the package and apply the sufficient amount of postage.
